I'M Alumna of the Bachelor in Fashion Design & Accessories course at Istituto Marangoni Milano Fashion School, Elena Friolotto is the founder and creative director of Eibhlín Actias, an Italian atelier specialising in artisanal corsetry and bespoke garments.

Her passion for fashion began in childhood thanks to her grandmother Anna, a seamstress who passed on to her a love for craftsmanship, fabrics, and attention to detail. After completing her studies in Fashion Design at the Milano Fashion School in 2021, Elena decided to turn the dream she had nurtured since childhood into a profession. In the following years, she deepened her knowledge of corsetry through extensive research, studying its history, construction techniques, and evolution over time. Fascinated by the complexity of the corset and its ability to combine structure, elegance, and femininity, she founded Eibhlín Actias.

Each creation by the brand is designed and entirely handmade by Elena using couture tailoring techniques and high-quality Italian materials. The exclusively made-to-order production reflects a philosophy focused on sustainability, quality, and the uniqueness of each piece.

In 2025, she opened the Eibhlín Actias Atelier Boutique in Alassio, Liguria, a space dedicated to personalised consultations and bespoke creations. Her designs have been worn by VIPs such as Chapelle Rohan and Giulia Salemi, and have appeared in campaigns for prestigious brands such as René Caovilla.  In the same year, she presented her collection for the first time during Milan Design Week and was included among the world’s outstanding master artisans in the Homo Faber Guide. In 2026, Elena took part in and won an Istituto Marangoni contest in collaboration with Swarovski, which led to the creation of a unique piece embellished with the brand’s iconic crystals.

Through her work, Elena promotes a vision of slow and conscious fashion, where craftsmanship, memory, and innovation coexist harmoniously.
