Jun Jin Yu studied Visual Merchandising and Fashion Styling in Milan. After graduating in 2010, she spent 3 years creating and executing the interior design of 10 newly launched stores in Italy and participated in projects at reputed department stores such as Harrods London, Rinascente Milan and Mono by Shinsegae, the high-end casual wear group in Milan. After this, she collaborated with TOD’S, as a Visual Merchandiser, where she gained a profound understanding of visual display in the luxury goods industry. As a result of this, she then joined Camicissima, a retail brand and leader in shirt-making as their Visual Director. Here, she was responsible for the visual display and material purchasing of the all the stores globally. In the wake of her experience there, she then took on the role of Visual Counselor and Merchandiser at Gentspace, a Chinese high-end menswear label, where she then was promoted to Creative Director.
In 2018, she established alongside her life partner Tongle Studio, an interior design company. Her company now serves celebrated brands such as GOODBABY, Lakeville Shanghai and Ginkgo Hangzhou to name a few. Jun Jin Yu’s mission in life is to combine and create beauty all around which she what she has done.
