
Professional Programme
In cooperation with the Human Resources department of over 20 established international and local fashion brands, Istituto Marangoni Shanghai offers an exclusive hybrid academic and professional experience where the learning outcomes and the curriculum are related to an achievement of industrial task. Students are given the opportunity to be trained to respond to a given brief and accompanied to the presentation of their ideas.
SHANGHAI
This programme is divided in two blocks: the first one covers the techniques, organisation and creative problem-solving skills aiming to prepare the student for a specific and agreed professional task in cooperation with a real brand HR department.
By studying the relationship between fashion and technology, innovative applications in e-commerce, social media content creation and management, participants learn how to interpret and respond to a given task. Extensive knowledge of the brand resources, their properties and appropriate uses, combined with the support of tutors and the academic team will design a project that challenges to innovate and to conceive disruptive ideas. The second block is structured with an internship experience during weekdays and lessons in the weekend, so to follow up and support the learning process in the industry. By gaining an in-depth knowledge of these processes, participants are able to design projects that are both profitable and appropriate for the market. The new sustainable supply chain, textile innovation, trends, philosophical design process and fashion show creative direction are subjects of discussion with professionals from leading companies in the fashion industry, with participants learning how to apply them to real-life projects. Participants also gain an in-depth understanding of the various methods of creative research and innovation in the working environment. This course provides a deep understanding of the complex business opportunities and professional transformation of the new upcoming profiles and actors.
This course is aimed at participants who have attended previously 4 building blocks level study in an undergraduate programme, or a complete intensive programme.
