Home to numerous world-renowned luxury brands, Florence is the heart of creativity in the accessories sector and has long been recognised as a key manufacturing place for bags and footwear, a symbol of Italian heritage, known for style, quality and advanced techniques.

For this reason, Paul AndrewFashion Designer & Creative Director, chose the prestigious Istituto Marangoni school in Florence to present the new IM Mentors Project dedicated to three-year, intensive and master’s courses in the Fashion Design & Accessories area.

A leading voice of fashion’s new generation, Paul Andrew cultivated his aesthetics and technical expertise alongside Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Narciso Rodriguez and Alexander McQueen, and launched his eponymous brand in 2013. In 2016, he was named Women's Footwear Design Director at Salvatore Ferragamo and then Creative Director of the brand in 2019.

Paul Andrew's work is bold and pragmatic at once, balancing luxury with sustainability, and craftsmanship with the most innovative materials and technological research.

The Right Footing project will take place from March to May 2022 and will be a unique opportunity for emerging fashion designers at Istituto Marangoni Firenze to follow in Paul Andrew’s footsteps. The designer will share with the new generation of creatives his point of view on design and fashion as a challenge and even as provocation, helping the students create their own collection of accessories.

Enrolling in one of Istituto Marangoni Firenze's Fashion & Accessories Design programmes starting in February 2022 will give access to this exclusive project with Paul Andrew, an inspiring opportunity to explore and develop innovation, excellence and originality guided by an outstanding Mentor.
