IM Tote Bag Contest 2025
The IM Tote Bag is a symbol of creativity, belonging, and identity at Istituto Marangoni. Every year, the I’M Alumni Community is invited to reinterpret this iconic bag through an annual design contest. The winning proposal becomes the creativity for the official IM Tote Bag, gifted to new students worldwide as they begin their academic journey, carrying with it the values of creativity, innovation, and community.
Johanna Nodier, I’M Alumna of the Bachelor’s course in Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni Paris in 2015, is the winner of the latest 2025 edition. Her concept highlights the tote as “a blank canvas”, a space for expression, creativity, and individuality, reflecting the spirit of Istituto Marangoni and inviting students to add their own creative twist to the bag. Today, Johanna is based in Colombia, where she has founded the fashion brand Pineapple Don’t Have Sleeves, recognized for its colorful patterns inspired by art movements and pop culture.
