The students were supported by the Brand’s craftsmen, who shared the methods and techniques used by previous generations, and six Mentors, including international experts from the publishing industry and the fashion system such as Gert Jonkers • Editor in Chief and Publisher of Fantastic Man, Gianluca Longo • Style Director at The World of Interiors and Contributing Editor at British Vogue, Laura Brown • Editor in Chief of InStyle magazine, Sara Sozzani Maino • Head of Special Projects at Vogue Italia and International Brand Ambassador at Camera Nazionale della Moda ItalianaSimone Marchetti • Editor in Chief Vanity Fair Italy and European Editorial Director at Vanity Fair, Tonne Goodman • Sustainability Editor at Vogue USA, who made their expertise and knowledge available to the students, sharing advice and comments on their papers.

This prestigious collaboration gave the students the opportunity to gain insight into the Brand’s design and production processes and to learn more about the Tod's company, getting to the heart of the business through an immersive experience.

In addition to producing creative proposals, the young designers also planned digital marketing strategies to support effective storytelling about the product and the product range they had to design, paying special attention to sustainability, an increasingly central theme in today’s fashion industry.

During the final presentation of their projects to a panel made up of some of Tod's representatives, the 20 young Fashion Designers also had the unique opportunity to take a guided tour of the company headquarters in Brancadoro, in the Marche region, exploring all departments and discovering the materials and manufacturing processes used for the brand's products.
