XC | 90: A FRONT ROW OF CREATORS, EDITORS AND CULTURAL VOICES

Istituto Marangoni’s XC | 90 fashion show, staged to mark its 90th anniversary, drew a front row that reflected the breadth of today’s creative industries. From established editors to digital voices and emerging cultural figures, the guest list reinforced the event’s position at the intersection of fashion, art, and communication.

Among the evening’s most notable presences was Pietro Terzini, the artist behind the new institutional claim Creative State of Mind. His work has become synonymous with Marangoni’s vision of creativity as both a discipline and a lifestyle, making his attendance particularly symbolic.

The growing influence of digital culture was represented by several prominent content creators. Aya Mohamed (@milanpyramid), recently recognized with the Leader of Change: Community award at the Black Carpet Awards 2025, brought her voice of inclusivity and representation.

Alongside her were creators Camila Celis, Simone Cotellessa (@ecce____homo), who also works as a writer, and Julia Dantas, each contributing to the diverse media landscape that continues to shape the fashion conversation.

The editorial world was also well represented. Elisa Pervinca Bellini, Senior Fashion News & Sustainability Editor at Vogue Italia, and Giulia Squeri, journalist at WWD, underscored the show’s resonance within the industry’s leading publications. Their perspectives linked the student collections with broader narratives of fashion’s future.

Meanwhile, Hanan Besovic, widely followed as @ideservecouture, added his signature mix of humor and critical insight, embodying the evolving role of fashion commentators in the digital era. Jacopo Durazzani, PR & Events professional, highlighted the essential role of communication in connecting audiences to creative projects.

The guest list extended beyond fashion into wider cultural territory. Actor Saul Nanni brought a cinematic presence to the evening, while Tia Taylor, creator and communicator, contributed an international dimension to the celebration.

Together, these figures mirrored the dual spirit of XC | 90: a look back at ninety years of heritage and a projection forward into the creative futures the School continues to shape. The combination of student-led design and a diverse, high-profile audience confirmed the anniversary not only as a milestone for Istituto Marangoni, but as a platform for the voices and communities driving the industry today.
