Sustainable, seasonless and gender-neutral, designed by young people for young people. Izmee Collection by Istituto Marangoni is the result of a recent collaboration between the water bottle brand and the Milano Fashion School, which that led to a special capsule collection of clothing and accessories in line with IZMEE’s Earth-Positive philosophy.

"Izmee was created to make an everyday object that helps the environment – that is our plastic-free steel bottle – desirable. The project has expanded to include a series of products that leverage innovation to create a positive impact. We collaborated with Istituto Marangoni students so that they could use fashion as a container for messages and, at the same time, to recognise themselves”, said Enrico Accettola, founder of the IZMEE brand and Keepup Società Benefit.

The result is a timeless and highly wearable capsule collection with an urban edge to meet the tastes, trends and needs of the youger generations. Essential, recognisable and full of details, quality materials and neutral silhouettes, the collection features highly versatile t-shirts, joggers, sweatshirts, denim shirts, shorts and polo shirts, reversible windbreakers and accessories, in five bold, standout colours. As a unique addition to the collection, each piece is identified by the name of an endangered species as an everyday reminder of how our behaviour can affect the future of the planet and its inhabitants.

To top it off, each garment comes with a QR code tag, which can be scanned through the IZQ app – for iOS and Android – to access a social universe and share thoughts, words and feelings in different and unique ways.

Istituto Marangoni students who participated in the project include Ottavia Molinari, who graduated from the three-year Fashion Design Programme, Shiran Zini, from the Womenswear Fashion Design Master’s course of the Milano Fashion School, Natasha Law, from the Womenswear Fashion Design Master’s Course, Harun Cifci, from Luxury Accessories Design & Management Master’s Course, and Caterina Cancelli, from the three-year Fashion Design Programme, all of them from the Milano Fashion School.

The collection will be presented on September 23 to 26, 2021, at the WHITE Milano contemporary fashion trade show.

The project is part of the I’M Corporate Lab, Istituto Marangoni’s creative lab that provides bespoke consultancy for companies that operate in different businesses. The service provided focuses on different areas such as: Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition,

Specific project development (capsule collection, industry projects, research and marketing projects), Customised training for upskilling and reskilling, Co-branded projects for global visibility.
