March 15th, 2015 - Giulia Bedoni, Istituto Marangoni Director of Education for the Training Centre in Shanghai, held a seminar on “Fashion Trends: S/S 2016” during Mercedes-Benz Exclusive Fashion Update, special event organised on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar Thailand. The workshop held by Istituto Marangoni and hosted in the Hall of Fame of Siam Paragon shopping centre, Bangkok, was attended by young designers, fashion professionals, and many specialized press representatives. In her talk, fashion consultant and lecturer Giulia Bedoni discussed fashion trends and lifestyle, analysing the ‘Macro Trends’ that describe the fashion we will envisage in spring summer 2016. In particular, she focused on two main aspects: the blending of past and present, and the evolution of strict definitions into a more fluid, less-judgemental world in which cultural and gender differences become blurred. Giulia Bedoni graduated in Fashion Design from the School of Fashion Istituto Marangoni Milano. She has collaborated with prestigious fashion brands including Prada and Miu Miu; since 2008, she has been working free-lance as a fashion consultant for a great number of Made in Italy brands. Since 2009, she has been serving as Istituto Marangoni lecturer of subjects including Fashion Drawings, Fashion Collection, and Research; in 2014 she was appointed Director of Education at Istituto Marangoni Shanghai Training Center.
