How Color Shapes Emotion with Nouf Mallawi
Join us for an engaging session with Nouf Mallawi as we explore how humans respond to colors, the role of color across creative industries, and how different materials influence color perception.
About the speaker:
Nouf Mallawi is a Saudi costume designer, cultural practitioner, and visual storyteller specializing in costume design for performance. With a Master's degree in Costume Design for Performance, her work spans theatre, dance, immersive experiences, film, and large-scale cultural productions across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
Through her multidisciplinary practice, Nouf explores the relationship between color, material, silhouette, and human emotion, using costume and scenography as a medium for storytelling and visual communication. Her work is driven by research, psychology, and the belief that thoughtful design has the power to shape perception, evoke emotion, and create meaningful experiences.
