A new campus, new connections, and an entire Academic Year ahead. From September 21 to 24, Istituto Marangoni Milano Design celebrated the start of the 2026/27 Academic Year with Welcome Week, four days dedicated to welcoming students, building connections, and discovering university life.

This year's event held special significance: for the first time, students from around the world were welcomed to the new campus at Via Verri 4. It was an opportunity to explore the campus, meet fellow students, and begin to feel part of the school's international community.

Four Days to Connect and Experience the New Campus

Welcome Week kicked off on September 21 with Welcome Day, an event dedicated to new students, featuring creative activities and entertainment. From the Wheel of Fortune, offering the chance to win Istituto Marangoni prizes, to the Flower Bar, where students could create their own personalised bouquets to take home as a keepsake of their first day, the programme was designed to encourage interaction and shared experiences. The day also featured a DJ set and juice tasting organised in collaboration with Barba'N'Juice, an Italian company specialising in healthy beverages.

September 22 was dedicated to the Sporting Club, with an information area where new students could discover the school's sports activities and, with the support of the Student Desk, sign up for upcoming sessions, including a yoga class scheduled for the following day.

On September 23 and 24, Welcome Week also brought together returning students, creating an opportunity to reconnect and share the first moments of the new Academic Year. From a social break with Mini Merenda to memorable snapshots at the Photo Booth and the Sporting Club's yoga session, the final two days offered further opportunities to meet, connect, and enjoy the spaces of the new campus together.

Welcome Week was therefore much more than a welcome event: it marked the first step in an educational journey that places people, relationships, and cultural exchange at its heart. With the opening of its new campus on Via Verri, Istituto Marangoni Milano Design begins an Academic Year defined by creativity and collaboration, welcoming a new generation of students ready to embark on their journey into the world of design.
