Alt image Fashion designer from Reggio Calabria, Enrica Benedetta Vadalà got inspired by Southern Italy style and her Mediterranean origins, with powerful colours, prints and fabrics, creating a clothesline for young, dynamic businesswomen, who still want to enhance their femininity and charm. Sartorially finished, the line Enricabv, founded in 2017, includes cocktail, party and ceremony dresses, perfectly matching many different occasions and offering a wide choice to customers. At just 11 years old, Enrica knew she would be a fashion designer; at 18 years old she moved to Milan to study Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni. Since then, she worked ten years between Milan and London, and one of her creations, a dress in metallic mesh, she made for Emilio de la Morena, was shot in 2009 for Elle America. Her first collection is a great success and thanks to the collaboration with the photographer Stefania Sammaro, her dress was published on Vogue.it (summer 2017). In 2018 her label is officially registered and the journalist Mariella Milani invited Enrica to join the Crafters 2.0 project, an association of Italian crafters aiming to support the Made in Italy. In November 2018 the brand is named to be part of the Not Just A Label, the world’s leading designer platform for showcasing and nurturing today’s pioneers in contemporary fashion. At the beginning of 2019, some of Enrica’s dresses were bought by the concept store Couturier Maestri d’Arte, in Milan, and some of her creations for the new spring/summer collection have been published on Vogue UK in April, May and June. The goal for 2020 is to further expand the brand, also including and planning plus size production.
