Istituto Marangoni Milano students attend the Dolce&Gabbana Men’s Fashion Show
«Attending fashion shows is a dream for every fashion student,» says Anna Rogg, Senior Manager of Career Services, Alumni & Industry Relations. That dream became a reality for six students from Istituto Marangoni Milano, who were invited as special guests to the Dolce&Gabbana Men’s SS27 Fashion Show at the Metropol in Viale Piave 24, during Milan Fashion Week.
Titled Vacanze Siciliane (Sicilian Holidays), the collection celebrated Sicily’s cultural roots through a narrative that blended traditional craftsmanship and contemporary vision - values that are also at the heart of the school’s educational approach.
For the students, the invitation was a unique opportunity to experience one of the most prestigious events on the international fashion calendar from the inside and to witness up close the creativity and organisation behind a leading luxury fashion house.
«As fashion students, we usually experience this world through screens, magazines, and runway photographs. Being there in person, however, is something else entirely,» says Azul Anselmi, a second-year Fashion Communication & Image student. «Seeing the craftsmanship up close, feeling the energy of the show, and realising you’re part of a moment you’ve dreamed about for years is hard to put into words. Experiences like this remind us that fashion is much more than what we see: it’s a community, an industry, and a world that we can belong to.»

For Camila Armas, a second-year Fashion Communication & Image student, the Dolce&Gabbana Men’s SS27 show was even more meaningful, as it was her very first runway show. «Experiencing it live completely changes your perspective. Being there, surrounded by the atmosphere, the music, the people, and the collection, makes you feel immersed in the world the designers created. It’s just not the same as seeing it on a screen. I always thought of fashion shows as something distant, almost out of reach, because I had only seen them online. Being there made me realise that these are real experiences that make you feel part of the industry and the story. I can’t wait to go to many more.»

Claudia De Biase, a Master’s student in Fashion Product Management, shared the same excitement, calling the experience a confirmation of her career choice. «It was one of those moments you’ll never forget. I was struck by the atmosphere, the attention to detail and the brand’s ability to transform a fashion show into such an engaging experience. Since I’m just starting out, seeing a company like this up close gave me even more motivation. It made me even more determined to build a career in fashion.»

The initiative is part of the long-standing relationship between Istituto Marangoni Milano and Dolce&Gabbana - a partnership that continues to grow stronger, most recently marked by the third edition of the Industry Project dedicated to Beauty. «Istituto Marangoni has always had a special relationship with Dolce&Gabbana,» adds Anna Rogg. «The brand has consistently shown its commitment to supporting young talent by involving us in exclusive projects and initiatives. Giving our students the chance to attend the show was a truly magical experience: a dream come true.»
