A splendid location in the heart of Florence and a collaboration between Istituto Marangoni Firenze Designers and Stylists: these are the main themes of a Sportweek Magazine editorial out on August 21st, the result of an Industry Project dedicated to the School's Master course students.

The project, which ended in June 2021, was curated by Sportweek's Fashion Director Carlo Ortenzi, who led the participants in a reflection on sportswear trends and how to rethink them, in terms of apparel design and creation, as well as outfit styling and photography, but also in the choice of an outstanding location: Piazza Santa Croce.

Featuring 7 different outfits, the photo-shoot was entirely styled and curated by the students of the Master’s in Fashion Styling, Photography & FilmCarmen Alderisio, Natalia Bermejillo Roca, Camille Bersier, Palita Chuensiri, Aashna Lama and Alexandra Martin – who met the Magazine’s request to rethink next season's sports trends starting from technical pieces in white, designed by the students of the Master’s in Fashion Design, Collection & Marketing.

Cotton porthole turtlenecks with zippers, quilted technical fabric vests and down jackets, cotton sweatshirts and jackets with pockets and appliqués, and shorts with reflective details are some of the total white pieces designed by Lola Aguasca Lloberes, Sofia Andrea Baeza Urioste, Nili Drora Barzilay, Andreea Constantinescu, Jiaan Jiang, Elisa Nencioni and Diane Sima, shown in the Sportweek editorial.

With the work of the Stylists, the resulting shoot combines the creations of emerging Istituto Marangoni designers with pieces by big labels such as Prada, Fendi, Moncler, Bally and Alexander McQueen, worn by young TikTok star Alessandro Bedetti.
