XC | 90 • The 2025 Fashion Show Celebrating the School’s 90th Anniversary

On September 27, during Milan Fashion Week, ten young talents will have the opportunity to present their collections to an audience of journalists, creators, brands and industry professionals during a fashion show that celebrates 90 years of the school’s history.
The 2025 Fashion Show by Istituto Marangoni Milano, titled XC | 90 [no|vàn|ta], will connect fashion and symbolism, ancestral memory and future possibilities, transforming Galleria Meravigli into an immersive and vibrant space.
In Pythagorean philosophy, numbers are viewed as universal principles rather than mere digits. The union of 9 and 0 symbolises a threshold that connects endings with new beginnings, as well as memory and rebirth. The number 9 signifies the completion of a cycle—the highest point before renewal—while 0 stands for the original space and infinite potential.
Therefore, XC | 90 will not only celebrate the school’s ninety-year journey but also invite participants to cross a symbolic threshold into the future, transforming fashion into an act of transition and regeneration.
Ten Young Designers Selected by a Jury of Leading Fashion Figures
The protagonists of the show will be the 10 Best Fashion Designers for the 2024–2025 academic year, as selected by a distinguished jury composed of prominent figures in the fashion world. Among them are Alessandro Sartori, Artistic Director at ZEGNA; Antonio Masciariello, Heritage Director at Versace; Francesca Ragazzi, Head of Editorial Content at Vogue Italia; Francesco Scognamiglio, Creative Director at Maison Francesco Scognamiglio; and Luca Rizzi, Director of Pitti Tutoring & Consulting at Pitti Immagine. Also on the jury are Marco Rambaldi, Creative Director at Marco Rambaldi; Sara Sozzani Maino, Creative Director of the Sozzani Foundation; Stefania Valenti, Managing Director at Istituto Marangoni; Silvano Rossi, HR Director at Versace; and Vincenzo Ferrante, Head of Global Wholesale & Franchise at MSGM.
With their extensive experience and shared vision, they have identified the ten most promising talents from the third-year Fashion Design BA programme.

The show will feature sound design by Emiliano Zelada, an internationally renowned artist, composer, and sound designer, who will add rhythm and atmosphere to the event.
The live-stream will begin at 7:30 PM on the Instagram profiles of Istituto Marangoni Milano and Istituto Marangoni, allowing the students’ creative visions to reach audiences beyond the physical venue.
