The Fashion Degree Show presents a selection of the best six projects created by the students from three-year Fashion Styling and Fashion Business programmes during the academic year 2022/23 at the Milano School of Fashion

Fashion Business & Buying students developed a business plan for an innovative start-up, including a video presentation for potential investors, while the brief for Fashion Business, Digital Communication & Media students involved creating a new brand and planning a marketing campaign for its launch in the market. All students were required to pay special attention to current trends in the latest technologies, such as artificial intelligence and the metaverse, as well as environmental and human sustainability and inclusiveness.

The brief for Fashion Styling & Creative Direction students required developing a styling portfolio consisting of editorials and fashion films, to show their ability to merge their creative and technical skills. Each student accompanied their final thesis with a coffee table book, to combine the aesthetic and visual side with institutional and academic aspects.

For the Fashion Styling area, the selected students were Luca Rosei, Rebecca Bernardi and Margherita Mazzoletti, who was selected as Best Fashion Styling Student of the year. For the Fashion Business area, the teachers recognised the hard work and dedication of Mara Jansen, Elisa Julia Jonay and Sara Bortolini, who was awarded as Best Fashion Business Student of the Year.

The six best students had the honour of seeing their projects exhibited at Teatro Manzoni on 6 July, for the 2023 Graduation Ceremony, in an impressive installation composed of six mirrored monoliths curated by Matteo Agati, Designer & I'M Design School Alumnus.
